Psycho Soundtrack?
btw, as i was listening to Midnight Express last week, i couldn't help but think that i can't remember the last drop you in your tracks song from a movie. back in the 70's and 80's there wasn't a week that didn't have a movie theme song in the top 40 (hell...most times in the top 10). and now (other than those twilight soundtracks, which really aren't that memorable) it just seems like a movie theme ghost town (and the best song nominees from the last few oscars would seem to support my theory)
at least that is my impression. Any movie soundtrack fans out there care to debunk?

You're talking songs, not scores, right? And "Falling Slowly" probably doesn't count? I liked that Jonsi "Sticks and Stones" from "How to Train Your Dragon" a lot. "Latika's Theme" from "Slumdog Millionaire." "Father and Daughter" from "Wild Thornberrys." I listen to Eddie Vedder's "Man of the Hour," from "Big Fish," a lot.The Zooey Deschanel songs from "Yes Man." But that's not many.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree... I haven't really cared about many soundtracks (my two soundtrack loves: Garden State and Into The Wild). However, I look up the occasional track listings while I'm watching something so I can download a track that catches my ear. I did own some embarrassing soundtracks in the 90's :)
