  1. Guess that rules out a Rock The Garden. I HATE the MGMT too. And I don't hate that much. Ugh what if they headlined? I would volunteer during their set!

  2. listening to the new MGMT made me want to listen to the first album, or anything else.

okay, guessing time! what's your fantasy RtG line up, and what's a more likely line up? i hope Cloud Cult plays again, they have a new album coming out soon.

  3. I concur with the group (that "I Found a Whistle" is inexcusable), although my hatred may be slightly less red-hot. And I'm thinking Apples in Stereo will be one of the mid-range acts at RtG -- likely, not fantasy.

  4. i dunno that i have a fantasy concerning RtG, but i bet red pens or peter wolf crier fill the local slot. and i'm thinking this would be the perfect place for broken bells to play. also, is cloud cult contractually required to play every Minnesota outdoor festival?

  5. I want Hot Chip (how fun would that be?), Avett Brothers (not a chance), Eels, and P.O.S (or Brother Ali, I'd take either).

I've never been a fan of Cloud Cult but I've never seen them live, maybe that would change my mind. Broken Bells would be very cool but have they played any shows yet?

  6. Be careful what you wish for with seeing Cloud Cult live. They paint on stage to the music. THEY PAINT ON STAGE TO THE MUSIC!

  7. What about Gayngs for RtG (love that leaked song, by the way)? Sorta local, sorta not, guaranteed draws in Bon Iver and Dessa and POS.

  8. I know not this Gayngs. I'm also inclined to think BSS will be the headliner.
